It took three printers to get them right but there's some certainty in trial and error, no? These images were captured in late-October 2006 with a field camera (think: bellows) that shoots 4"x5" slides. The heavy 14 pt. postcards measure 4"x6" so these are practically contact prints of the originals. The series was run on an old Heidelberg halftone press at 200lpi (not digital) and colors run the full gamut. The image-side has a UV laquer and the reverse is uncoated for writing.
